Fabrice Guesde took up his role as Head of Credit Markets, Asia Pacific, in January 2021, and was appointed Head of Global Structured Credit & Solutions (GSCS), Asia Pacific in April 2016. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for overseeing the development of Natixis’ structured credit solution offering in the region, including across asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), capital call facilities and fund financings, and a range of bank and insurance regulatory solutions. Fabrice has over 25 years’ experience. He began his career in 1989 at Manufacturers Hanover Bank (now JPMorgan Chase), based in Paris, and in 1991 joined Bayerische Landesbank, Paris Branch as Head of Credit and then Head of Structured Credit & Syndication. Michael Hubbard currently heads Cadwalader’s European GP solutions in London. Michael joined Cadwalader in 2022, applying his near two decades of experience in finance to provide GPs with advice on structuring and sourcing liquidity across all forms of fund finance products. These products include subscription finance, GP and executive finance, NAV finance (across all asset classes), preferred equity and hybrid structures. The insights of the GP Solutions platform on the commercial aspects, is provided in parallel to the services provided by the legal practice, providing GPs with a unique and unparalleled multifaceted advice when raising finance.

Michael previously headed the syndicate desk covering Fund Finance at a FTSE100 bank, during which time he led some of the largest fund finance transactions and syndications is in Europe. These included the largest subscription line in Europe, grossing €8 billion across 27 lenders to a flagship primary buyout fund, as well as a 19 bank €16 billion umbrella facility spanning three vintages of primary buyout funds.

In Michael’s current role, as well as advising GPs on specific financings, he’s been instrumental to the development of a liquidity program for GPs looking to harness institution capital as a source of fund finance, as well as working with the Capital Markets practice develop a securitisation structure for single subscription financings.
